Dr. Alec Denes has special training in the following areas:

As a competitive athlete himself, Dr. Denes places a priority on helping his patients get back to their active lifestyles. He has played hockey since age nine, raced in mountain & road biking, running, nordic skiing, and multi-sport events, and rode his bicycle cross-country in 1998 for an American Lung Association fundraiser. Having served as a team physician for the US Ski and Snowboard Teams since 2007, and working during fellowship with Deena Kastor, Meb Keflezighi, and other members of USA Running, he also understands the unique needs of elite athletes.
Dr. Denes currently treats patients who suffer from a variety of orthopedic issues, ranging from athletic injuries and fractures, to arthritis and other degenerative conditions. He believes in being accessible to his patients and in spending time to educate them about their orthopedic health and treatment options. Dr. Denes works with each of his patients to formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
