Job Description:
This is a “Hands On” charge nurse (FT) position that will have responsibility for the daily operations in the perioperative services (Orthopedics a plus), reporting to the Nurse Manager/Executive Director. ( 3500 Annual procedures and room to grow).  Minimum two years OR/Charge experience required.  Must have knowledge of infection control guidelines, sterilization, trouble-shooting equipment issues, and AAAHC standards.  The successful candidate must have an effective working relationship with co-workers, patients/families and ability to maintain and create positive working  professional relationships with  physicians of the medical community.  Will work closely with the facility Nurse Manager/  Executive Director in ensuring an effective safe delivery of services.
